Sky is a 6 yr. old Shih Tzu boy who weighs 7 lbs.  He's very calm and loves to be close to his people once he gets to know them.  This handsome pup is learning to walk on a leash, and gets along well with dogs and cats.  He is working nicely on house training, and may do best with another small dog to learn from.  His foster parents say he is as adorable as can be and will "talk" to let you know he's hungry.  Sky the Shih Tzu is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Brewster is a 2 - 3 yr. old Yorkshire Terrier Havanese Mix boy who weighs 8 lbs.  He's a little shy at first, but warms up in time.  Brewster knows how to play fetch, sit on his hind legs and stand on his back legs to spin around.  This Yorkie Mix is attentive, and plays well with cats, dogs and adults.  He is working nicely on house training, and desires lots of love and attention.  Brewster the Yorkie Havanese mix is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Caley is a sweet 6 yr. old 10 lb. Pekingese who loves to receive belly rubs and go for car rides.  She is starting to play with toys, and likes romping in the fenced yard.  Caley gets very excited when it is time for a walk, and is happy with everyone she meets.  She is nicely house trained when kept on a regular schedule, and is fostering in New England.  This pretty Peke girl came into rescue when her humans could no longer care for her. 

Andy is a young Shih Tzu boy who weighs 11 lbs.  He enjoys attention, and can occupy himself with toys. Andy likes playing with other small dogs, and going for leash walks.  Andy's foster parents describe him as a playful, cuddly and very pleasant young man.  This handsome Shih Tzu is doing well with house training when kept on schedule, and is fostering in north Florida.

Tiny is a 7 yr. old Chihuahua boy who weighs 15 lbs.  He came into rescue when his owners could no longer care for him.  He is a quiet and independent little guy who will jump into your lap. Tiny tends to be a bit more comfortable with men, and enjoys leash walks and a quiet home.  This Chihuahua is mostly house trained, and fostering in the Northeast.

Teddy is a 3 yr. old Havashu (Havanese/Shih Tzu mix) who weighs 16 lbs.  Teddy Bear  (as we call him) is a very quiet, calm, sweet and gentle boy who loves hanging out with his furry sister.  He's extremely well-mannered and nicely housetrained.   He snuggles in his own little bed at night and waits for you to get up in the morning.  Teddy the Havanese /  Shih Tzu is fostering in the Northeast and is such a beautiful boy who is waiting for the right home.

Harley is an adult male Chihuahua who is sweet and loving.  He gets along well with most of the other dogs in his foster home.  He can be protective of his food when it comes to visiting pups or company... Click to Continue...

Alexander is a delightful little man whose tail wags his entire body!  This 6 yr. old 14 lb. Shih Tzu boy came into rescue from a kennel and is loving his new life.  He is quiet and stays close to his people, and he is learning to play with toys.  Since his first night in his new foster home, he has slept on the big bed curled up nicely.  He is now fine with being picked up, and loves getting cookies with the other pups.  Alexander is quite content with his new life style.  House training is a work in progress, but he is doing very well, and enjoys going out in the fenced-in back yard to do his business.  He is learning leash walking, and it is expected that within a few weeks he'll be walking on the leash like a pro. He does well riding in the car and would like a home with at least one other furbaby to play with and learn from. This handsome Shih Tzu boy is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Misty is a very sweet little Shih Tzu girl who is about 5 yrs. old and weighs 12 lbs. She came into rescue from a breeding kennel and is blossoming nicely in her foster home. Misty is very good with other dogs, cats and gentle children. She is starting to trust and has been enjoying receiving lots of love. This Shih Tzu girl can be a bit nervous when she meets new friends, but soon warms up. She will need to continue working on house training skills, and would love a stay at home person and another small pup or two. Misty the Shih Tzu is fostering in the Northeast.

Kayka is a young, adventurous, energetic, and playful Maltese Poodle puppy. He is just a year old and weighs only 7 lbs.  He loves playing with other dogs, especially one that will chase & wrestle with him.  Kayka likes sleeping in the big bed to cuddle or chasing balls and squeak toys.   Kayka the Maltese Poodle puppy boy would love an active family and a fenced in yard.  This pup would do well as an only pet as long as he gets lots of attention and excercise. He is working on house training, and fostering in Florida.

Markie is a wonderful 6 year old male Shih Tzu who was rescued from a  Breeder.  He has made tremendous progress in becoming a sweet, playful dog. Markie loves squeaky toys and plays continuously with them.  He is great at entertaining himself for hours but he also finds joy in retrieving a toy. He sleeps soundly throughout the night in the big bed.  Markie walks well on a leash and enjoys taking long walks in the neighborhood park where he does well when meeting other dogs and children.  Markie has learned to trust again, and recently began giving kisses. This sweet boy likes to ride in the car and is working hard on potty training.  He requires eye drops to promote tear production twice daily, and is doing better each day.  Markie likes to be held and snuggled but does not like restraint due to his past experiences. Markie needs another dog and would do best with a mostly at home person to help him continue to learn to become a family member.  This adorable Shih Tzu boy is fostering in the Southeast but is willing to travel to his forever home.

Teddy Bear is a very smart and handsome 9 yr. old 17 lb. Yorkshire Terrier boy.  He is nicely house trained, and enjoys leash walks and car rides.  Teddy Bear is great company and enjoys being close to his people.  His foster mom describes him as a smart boy who is a quick learner, and very obedient!  This Yorkie came into rescue after living as an only dog, and has made some adjustments while living with his furry foster siblings.  He can be food protective while in the company of other dogs, and is now starting to play with them.  Teddy Bear is human focused and would love a home with a mostly stay-at-home person who can dote solely on him.  He is truly one of the sweetest, brightest, and best companion dogs with a good temperament and a touch of excitement! Teddy Bear the Yorkie boy is fostering in North Carolina. 

Delilah is a sweet little 7 yr. old 13 lb. Shih Tzu girl who loves be be near her people.  Although she has limited vision she gets around very well.  She gets along great with her foster brothers and sisters and enjoys sleeping on the big bed with them.   She is doing very well with her potty training skills and goes outside, but in a pinch will use the puppy pads.   Delilah would do best in a quiet home with a mostly stay-at-home person and another dog to help her learn doggie ways.  Delilah the Shih Tzu is fostering in the Northeast.

LuLu is a pretty 7 yr. old Lhasa Apso girl who weighs about 15 lbs.  She's a friendly and affectionate lady who loves staying close to her people.  LuLu is nicely housetrained, and would enjoy a home with a fenced in yard because she likes to romp around outside.  She would do best as an only dog, and is on a prescription diet.  LuLu the Lhasa is fostering in the northeast.
