Gigi is a sweet little Shih Tzu who recently went blind and is still adjusting.  She is about eight years old and weighs a petite ten pounds. We have nicknamed her "Grum-Grum" because she likes to tell you if there is something she doesn't like or if she is scared, in a "grumbly" voice. Here’s Lucky! Lucky is a handsome Shih Tzu boy, 6-8 years old, who was turned in to a high-kill shelter by his owners who were moving. He’s still a little thin at 13 pounds, but since he loves to eat, that should be corrected soon. He loves his foster mom and gives nice kisses with a little tongue that sticks out the side of his mouth. Luci is a 2 year-young Jack Russell Terrier who is learning how great life is outside the confines of a commercial breeding facility. She is affectionate with her foster family, loving children and adults, other dogs and the cats. Luci is fascinated with the parrots in the household and spends long periods of time watching them. Wally is a 6 yr. old Yorkshire Terrier boy who weighs 7 lbs.  He is nicely housetrained and gets along just fine with other dogs, cats and gentle children.  Wally had some dry skin issues at first, but since he is eating the correct foods his coat is coming in soft and silky! He will need to continue practicing his new healthy lifestyle and eating habits, and would like a human who understands. This adorable Yorkie would like to have an active family who can take him everywhere they go.  He would like to be able to sleep in the big bed too!  Wally the friendly Yorkshire Terrier is fostering in CT, and waiting for a special home to call his own.

Sunni is a 4 yr. old Shih Tzu girl who weighs 17 lbs. This beautiful pup came into our rescue after being hit by a car.  She has no use of her left front leg, but that doesn't slow her down!  She gets around very well and can even sit up and beg for a treat!  Sunni is a laid-back, sweet, lovable, quiet girl who likes to sleep in the big bed at night and snuggle next to her person during the day.  She loves belly rubs and being talked to.  She is housetrained and is good with gentle kids, dogs and cats.  She will melt your heart with her big beautiful eyes and her big wagging tail!  Sunni the Shih Tzu is fostering in northwest Florida.

Trixie is a 6 month female Pomeranian who weighs 9 lbs. She is working wonderfully on her potty skills and loves to play with all the other furbabies in her foster home. She doesn't pay any attention to the cats, so she is cat friendly. Trixie has soft fluffy fur, and loves to prance around like the princes that she is.
